Thanks to my friend Rory, you can look at the top of the page each day, and you will be able to see just how old Haley is! Isn't that NEAT!!! I need to start dating the pictures better, so I'll be able to keep track of how old she is in each, but that will come with time. Have lots to update everyone on, I ended up with Haley's stomach bug, and was quarrantined in my own home. But, recovered rather quickly, thank goodness! We are headed to the coast this weekend to visit with family, so I'll update the blog, and put up more pictures, just as soon as we get back!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRESSLEY!!!

This picture was taken at our baby shower last year when Pressley was about 17 months old. She turned two today, and it is hard to believe she has grown SO fast! We just want to say Happy Birthday, we love you, and can't wait to see you this weekend!!!

Story Time, 6 Month Check Up, and Stomach Virus

Hello Everyone! We have had QUITE a week, but we are in the start of a new one, so we are hoping for more fun, rather than "drama" :) Haley's second tooth came trhough on Monday, and although it is fully in, she won't give us much of a chance to get a picture of it, we are sure trying though.

We got a new book from our friends Jennifer & Anna Kuhn. It is a story about Firetrucks, something dear to our hearts :). In the picture below, Ethan is reading Haley the firetruck story, in the rocking chair given to us by his parents. This is the rocker that Ethan's mom rocked him in when he was a baby. What a neat thing for him to be able to share with Haley!


Haley had her 6 month check up on Thursday, and she is growing like a weed! She weighs 18 lbs 10 oz and is 26 3/4 inches long. She is still at the top of the charts for everything, and the doctor was very happy with the way she is growing. So, in an effort to continue her development, we are adding more finger foods to her diet. Below are 3 pictures of her eating a "Mum Mum" cookie. As you can tell, she really likes them and enjoys eating them all by herself!

Another good report from the doctor, Haley's ears are clear as a whistle, so maybe we'll avoid tubes after all. We can only hope!

The weekend was supposed to be "fun filled" excitement with a trip to the lake with Aunt Rah & Uncle JJ. Well, it was exciting for sure, and filled with fun at the lake, but poor little Haley ended up sick. Friday night during her bottle, Haley threw up ALL over me! (I think that makes me offically a mom right?) Well, I called the doctor and we wrote it off as gagging, becuase her spirits were ok, and she finished her bottle. WELL, in the night, she had a severly dirty diaper, and then got sick again that morning. Needless to say, we ended up at Urgent Care and she has the stomach virus. Today, she is doing better, it is 1:30, and she has eaten twice and hasn't had a dirty diaper or gotten sick YET. We'll keep our fingers crossed!

Other than that, we have had a good week. We are going to the Coast this weekend to see family and friends, and Haley will get to meet her Great Aunt Susie for the first time! She is very excited!!!

Another Tooth

Haley's second tooth popped through this morning. She is still showing symptoms of more to come, so I don't know if she is going to be one of those kids who gets them all at once or what, but lets hope the pain passes soon! :)

Fathers Day/Susan's 30th Bday Party

Hi Everyone! Happy Fathers Day to all of the daddy's out there reading this, hope you all had a wonderful day! We had a great weekend here in Oxford. Ethan's mom and dad came to town on Friday to celebrate Fathers Day, my 30th birthday, and most importantly just to see Haley! On Saturday, Ethan and I, along with all of our parents, went out to Enid Lake to take the boat out for a ride. We had a wonderful time boating, swimming, catching every little fish in the lake, and just visiting with one another. Aunt Rah had baby sitting duties, and she and Haley had a wonderful day together, although I am sure Rachel could have done without the TWO messy diapers :)

Speaking of dirty diapers, we are fairly sure that Haley is cutting her second tooth, and this one hasn't gone nearly as smoothly as the first. She has been quite a little pistol this weekend, but we just try and remember that it is just a day or two, and she'll be back to her happy little self.

Last night, Ethan had a 30th birthday party for me here at our house, and we had a wonderful time. Both sets of our parents were there, along with some of our closest friends, and we enjoyed eating BBQ and playing a heated game of Catch Phrase. We have yet to determine a winner, as we had to end the game before a true winner could be determined. However, I think all of the women would say we won, while the men might beg to differ! :) Needless to say, we had a great time!

Well, Haley has gone to bed, and I hear the couch calling my name. Hope everyone has a wonderful week, and I will try and keep you posted on how that tooth is coming!

P90X

Ethan and I, along with our dear friend and neighbor Meredith, have enbarked on a workout plan called P90X. We started this morning, bright and early at 5:00 A.M. and DID AWESOME! We'll keep you posted, and while I don't plan to post the "before" pictures just yet, depending on how well the "after" turn out, I might post them!

Haley's First TOOTH!

I didn't want to show off my tooth!

See it now! Just poking through, but it'll be a snaggle in no time!

As you can tell by the title, Haley's first tooth broke through her gums today. We had a feeling this was coming, as she has been chewing on her hands now for some time, but with renewed intent these past couple of days. She has handled it rather well, and has continued to sleep well. Lets hope that keeps up. Y'all have a great night!
