Hey everyone, above are some pictures we took of Haley yesterday, 5/28/08. She is growing so fast, she laughed out loud yesterday at her sitters, and she is starting to sit up by herself. She changes with every day!

We went to the doctor again yesterday, and she DOES have yet another ear infection, so we are going to continue the antibiotic, and try one last thing...Flonase. We will try and see if we can keep her from becoming congested, and getting ear infections, but if she gets one more, we are off to the ENT for tubes. Haley has been a trooper, but we hate that she hasn't been feeling well.

Ethan and I bought our first boat this weekend, and we will take her out on her maiden voyage this Saturday. We got a 24 foot pontoon, and hope that Haley will like boating as much as we do! We will take lots of pictures, and post them (I promise RORY!)

Haley found her feet!

Hey everyone! I am trying to do better about updating this blog, and taking pictures, as Haley is growing SO fast! She found her feet today, and as you can tell, she is quite intrigued by them!

We had to take her to the doctor this morning, as she has become increasingly congested in the past few days, and with her history of ear infection, we didn't want to wait until it was too late. The doctor said that she has clear fluid in her ear, like you get when you have a cold, but we are going to watch it, and if her tempermant changes or she runs a high fever, we have an antibiotic to give her. Ethan had tubes as a baby, so we won't be surprised if we have to head down that road. The doctor said that if we do end up with an ear infection, we will need to come back so we can document it.

On a happier note, she weighs 18 lbs 3 oz and is 25.5 inches long! Very healthy little girl!

Two days in a ROW!

As I promised, here are some more pictures! Haley LOVES her veggies, and as you can tell from these two pictures of her eating, she was full and satisfied. And she digests them very well (the funny look on her face :) )

The one where she isn't looking at us, was an attempt to show her playing, and she was so interested in the toy, she wouldn't look at the camera.

HEY EVERYONE, SO SORRY IT HAS TAKEN ME SO LONG TO PUT UP NEW PICTURES, BUT HERE ARE SOME FOR YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE, AND I'LL TRY AND GET SOME MORE UP SOON.

HALEY IS DOING GREAT, 5 MONTHS OLD ALREADY! MY HOW TIME FLIES! SHE SITS UP VERY WELL SUPPORTED, AND WE THINK IT WILL ONLY BE A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE SHE SITS UP BY HERSELF. SHE LOVES HER EXERSAUCER, AND THE WALKER AT DAYCARE. SHE HASN'T LAUGHED OUT LOUD YET, BUT SHE SURE LOOKS LIKE SHE WANTS TO! SHE HAS SOME LUNGS ON HER, WE ARE PRETTY SURE SHE GETS THAT FROM ETHAN, HIM BEING SO CHATTY AND ALL :)

HALEY ALSO STARTED EATING SOLID FOODS LAST MONTH, AND AT HER LAST DOCTORS APPOINTMENT, SHE WEIGHED 17LBS 3OZ. GROWING LIKE A WEED! THE DOGS ARE REALLY STARTING TO ENJOY HAVING HER AROUND, AND SHE IS MUCH MORE CURIOUS ABOUT THEM. THERE ARE MANY INSTANCES THAT SHE IS MORE INTERESTED IN THEM THAN SHE IS EATING.

WELL, I THINK THAT IS ALL FOR NOW. I WILL TAKE SOME PICTURES OF HER EATING AND POST THOSE AS WELL, YOU CAN SEE HOW MUCH SHE LOVES TO EAT!
